HOW TO APPLY
To apply to this program we recommend you, if you want, following these steps:
- Receiving the invitation: Read through all the information provided by us, and absorb the ideas of the Keimling project.
- Checking-in with yourself: Do you want to participate in this project? If the answer is yes…
- Contributing yourself: Fill out the application form http://collective-b.at/keimling/form. We welcome different formats, be it now a text, a video, a voice note, a portfolio or anything else you could possibly share with us through the form.
- Awaiting: At the end of June, we will come back to you with an answer.
SELECTION CRITERIA
We set an intention to shape this application process as transparently as possible within our capacities. Here we would like to offer some information to you regarding how we will select participants.
Your application will only be seen by our core team that is introduced in the project page of our website. Because we only share German and English, at different levels, as languages within our team, we will only accept applications in either one of those languages.
Communication for us is about understanding each other, we are excited to get to know you regardless of how well you speak the language.
For this first edition of the Project we set a minimum 65% FLINTA*-Participant Quota for ourselves. In the end, the group will consist of around 15 people.
We will view your application through a lens that is especially attentive towards:
- Artistic playfulness:
- A general joy for artistic engagement and openness to play with ideas, material, bodies, spaces…
- Social and political approaches:
- Your interests and engagements in the wide field of political discourse, activism and around societal issues.
- Teamwork:
- We would like to get a glimpse into the ways in which you are present in a team.
- Personal impulse to become a part of the project:
- What do you hope to receive from this time together?
- We’d like to gather a group of people who are genuinely interested in this form of discourse and project.
- Contributions and sharings:
- What do you feel drawn to offer or explore in a space like this?
- Here are some examples of some contributions
- Give a talk on your experience with inclusion
- Share your acrobatic-skills and help others to learn
- Moderate a discussion about social justice
- Gather people for a jam session
- Take someone out on a walk to learn about the plants of the surrounding
- Share your experience in projects around activism or social engagement.
